SMALL GROUPS

A small group is designed to foster heart-to-heart relationships among participants. We offer small groups for children, youth and adults at HRBC. In these groups, more intensive Bible study takes place, and participants lovingly hold one another accountable for their spiritual growth. Some small groups require more commitment (in terms of daily preparation) than others. In general, small groups build upon what takes place in a Sunday School class and takes the learning process to a more intimate level. Personal sharing and interaction with biblical teachings is what distinguishes the small group from a Sunday School class. Because of the accountability component, there is a strong emphasis on living the life of adisciple and embodying the teachings of Jesus. Adult small groups intentionally "close" after a brief period of time to enable intimate sharing to take place. Small groups may meet at any time.
